Canvas Pics - Memories for Life!

What type of picture qualifies?
The following is a guideline for pictures used as canvas prints or posters:

1. Digital photographs. They should be of a high enough resolution for a satisfactory result. When photographing, ensure that images are 3 megapixels or larger. (Prints larger than A4 may require files larger than 3 megapixels.) The file size must not exceed 5 MB if e-mailing.
They can be e-mailed directly to pictures@canvaspics.co.za. If you have larger file sizes or several pictures to send, please send a CD by post to the address shown on your quotation.

2. Conventional photographs. Clear, sharp and in focus should be the guidelines here. A high-resolution scan (300 dpi minimum) of your photograph can be e-mailed to us. If you are unable to do a scan, a photographic services outlet should be able to do it for you.

3. Your child’s art. Young children are totally uninhibited when it comes to the use of colour, and very often parents keep special pictures, which, with the passing of time will deteriorate somewhere in a dusty drawer. Why not have your child’s works of art brought to life on canvas and occupy a special place in your home? Scan the picture and send it to us with your requirements!

4. Your art. Does your art have commercial value? Whether photographs or paintings - why not reproduce a limited number of copies for re-sale? If you are not able to send high-resolution scans, please ensure that all work sent to us is properly packaged and insured. We do not accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

5. Printed pictures. Sometimes we see a spectacular scene or a favourite personality in a magazine and would love to have it on our walls. Send us a high-res scan, or if posting, please be careful not to fold it - use a tube obtainable at the post office. (See also 'Posters' under OTHER PRODUCTS)

Please ensure your contact details are with all material supplied.
Work will only commence on the acceptance of the quotation we send you.

Canvas Pics is in no way obliged to print material deemed unsuitable or undesirable and it will be entirely up to their discretion to make such a decision.

Copyright: As it would be impossible for Canvas Pics to determine, please note that it is up to you, the client to ensure that there are no copyright infringements on material supplied to us.
